Hey that's a success in my book. They nailed the landing spot, just came in to fast. Considering they are de-orbiting a booster for a controlled landing in the middle of the pacific...that's phenomenal work! They are so close the next or right after that is going to nail it. Even thus far they've done something no one else has.

That is some AMAZING programming. That rocket knew exactly how to try to save its self. And I'm sure the landing programmers are going to greatly benefit from the data and video to compare it with.

When I compare this with their previous attempts I see a great deal of improvement. So I'm very confident that they'll be succesfull. Maybe this year, maybe next year, but definatly soon.

i almost felt with my guts how hard that small little top thruster tried to keep that thing straight. i would give him a medal.
