That amp and speaker sounds incredible! Marshall can still build great sounding amps when they want.

They make great speakers, my oldest one is the alnico 74 1772 a '54, 70 years old and going great in my Princeton Reverb. Cheers Celestion and Marshall.

Bring back the JMP-1 preamp. Release as JMP-1 Classic Edition with everything original but some quality updates to components like the output jacks. Then do a JMP-1 Modern Edition with different modern Marshall voicings for the metal guys. Maybe a meaner looking front panel.

If you want to spice them up, add built in IR loading and Bluetooth app. But you have to keep the original speaker emulated outs on the JMP-1 Classic. That’s part of its secret sauce as heard on hundreds of albums. I’d buy both in a heartbeat.

I quite like the idea, looking forward to giving it a try. It would be neat if you could have this speaker as an upgrade option on all stock cabs and 12” combos.

I do agree we could do with a new amp design probably to replace the CODE amps. A pedal board amp by Marshall could be cool.

Clean tones are nice. Warm and dry, yet spanky. Hint of glass, but soft and round with good mids.

Gain sounds nice. Got that OT sound in there a bit.

I’m afraid to look at the price! I have an old DSL20 that has sounded like poop since I got it. I suppose if I hadn’t bought that first so-called Marshall, I might budget more for this one, but it’ll likely be quite high. So. Supply and demand I guess.

Release all your amps as a preamp with ir and obviously channel switching, midi and effects loops. Like the Friedman irx. I would buy the silver jubilee version in a heartbeat.

I wish o could have one of these amps in my amp collection. For some reason after getting my first true marshall tube amp when i was 11 its a 100 watt marshall valvestate not really a tube amp but it slunded and still slunds amazing i was addicted to that marahall tone and warmth of what a full tube amp can give you . Before that i was using a line 6 crappy spider 3 which sounded xool to a 10 year old but when you play a nice warm marshall of any kind those sound junky then. Whne i was 13 i got my first 100 watt marshall full stack the marshall vintage modern full 4*12 stack with two cabs and head and paid a whole 810 dolalrs lut the door at guitar center they had just hit the sales floor for the first time that week best amp investment i ever made still to this day and i am now up to 52 different amps in my collection from over the years. I try to buy one special amp every year or if i get a bonus or get some extra money ill get two and like last year i was able to add three amls to my collection two of which i been wanting sonce i was 15 and rhe other kne was a brand new amp not used or vintage but its a beautiful sounding 100 watt half stack boss katana modeling amp does everything i clild ever imagine it doing while playing gigs live and it even interacts with my boss gt-1000 which is an amazing modeling, amp and cab sim and multi effects pedel board all in one. I have abuddy who is great with computers and coding and lrogramjng to where the amp and the gt-1000 all works together and not against each other to where i dont need a lap top and someone to change the preset settings and tones furing songs and for each song or need the pedel board i got eberything i need on the gt-1000 easier to use and gives me tons more options then a regular bpard for the katana and easier to make effefts changes on the fly while playing live and not having to stop and its got a pedel for wah and kther cool effects. But my favorite amps are the marahall vibtage modern 100 watt stack, marshall dsl40, vox ac15c1, prs archron 50 watt 1x12 combo and finally the kther fav i lile to paly the most is my marshall jcm800 full 4*12 2 cab stack dimed out lol

I read that there will only be 100 of the amps made, but what about the speaker? Is that a limited run as well?

Do you sell the capture for Tonex and the cab IR? That will be more practical for 2024 and beyond. Oh wait, someone will do it. Oh yeah.

Should this be bought to replace my SC20H?

49 watt non purple touch senstive vintage modern with less knobs ? I liked the valve state. I could run a daisy chain in the fx loop and in the front of the amp and it wouldn't clip.

I think this would be better received if there were newer, made in England rock and metal 100+ watt amps. Maybe working with Fortin and Meshuggah to do an official Marshall Nameless signature amp or something similar as a production model. I’m 50 so I’m a bit in the middle of classic “dad rock” but have been into punk and metal my whole life and you’re losing the kids of today that should be buying your amps.
