What is Multilink to controllers? 👀🤔

Generally, this is used to link/map knobs on a MIDI controller to the knobs and parameters on the DAW, directly by just moving the knob. Now, while it is quite a handy feature for that, it can do so much more than just that.

By right-clicking on it, you can also quickly reach to 'Create Automation Clips' with just one click.

Aaand, it goes further than that- Not only do we get all the options that we used to get inside of Tools>Last Tweaked Parameter for automating controls of third party plugins; We also get the 'Last-Second Tweaked Parameter' controls all inside the same dropdown.

This can significantly reduce the time taken to automate controls inside a third-party plugins such as serum/sylenth1/vital etc.

For example, you can use this track to quickly automate the cutoff and the resonance at the same time without even having the need to go through Tools and then last tweaked parameter, in turn saving you some time when you are in the zone!
