You can never go wrong with baskets. The basket you said you might use to go on a picnic I have that exact one and I use it to hold my potatoes. I knew I use another basket to hold my onions and they all sit underneath my hutch. I have a hutch on legs.

I have a crock full of old wooden spoons. I love them...nothing weird about it. I find the best ones at garage sales and estate sales...super cheap.
