Resumability of Qwik combined with syntax and compiler of svelte would be THE best framework

I think now qwik might be a better option. Because react seems to go into the approach of server rendered html for blog articles. Qwik might become the new reactjs or even better.

When I saw the server functions I was sold 😂

I've been teetering between using qwik (qwik-city) or stick w/ react (remix) for a while now, and qwik is the only framework that compels me to want to make the switch -- I've worked w/ svelte-kit and solid-start as well, but the dx improvements simply don't outweigh the lack of ecosystem (sorry, but it's not as simple as saying can just use vanilla js -- react eco is strong) .Qwik's approach to "hydration" just feels right and offloads me from a lot of perfwork -- and just works. Qwikify is the other factor, as I'm hooked on react-aria (pun intended) and there is no equivalent that I'm aware of outside of react (melt-ui is closest thing being developed for sveltekit, but not near as seasoned as react-aria). I was skeptical about Qwikify, but it's working out quite nicely w/ hosting my react-aria components and, while yes, I pay perf hit to download react to host them, I'm still ahead by comparison to Remix (or Nextjs) and most of my codebase can stay and scale using native qwik. I had given up on qwik a few months back, but so nice to work with I really missed it and that's when decided to give Qwikify a try (recent). Assuming I don't hit any pitfalls, I feel at stage where I can make the switch to qwik. So far so good, and was even able to integrate panda-css, and have it work for both react style integration components and native qwik -- which was unexpected since panda-css requires you to set framework in its config (react or qwik).

I like solidjs for now because it's still independent from any company. Qwik and nextjs are both kind of tools to attract to their companies. Svelte is also a vercel side project now.

Reactjs is backed by Facebook but they don't offer related services

The comparison against other framework was made against the plain frameworks right?
It would be fair to compare it to other "meta-frameworks" that provide SSR and many other optimizations - like SvelteKit or Nuxt .

This whole thing with web frameworks seems like it is too wild, is this progress or madness?

Which framework do you recommend me to make a ssr app with pwa? I dont want to use nextjs

Fullstack framework? or just for client side?

Can Qwik be used serverless? i mean. React + Node = web app, but NextJs is React+Node in one framework...can qwik be different?

It’s between KISSS and SupaQwik for that next side project

When a dev team is telling me to use their product, it's a genuine promotion rather than a review, AKA the video is heavily biased

the truth is they have big js size but it is downloaded using service worker

So many requests... There must a trade off with Qwik...

I tried to understand qwik a few times now without success..

I get that it's doing something new with resumibility but I just don't see the point of it. We are already flooded with frameworks and the most well known ones seem to be doing the job just fine.
As far as I'm concerned at this point, the main thing new frameworks should push for is better and faster DX. Make it easier and faster to build, to hire and to maintain.

So far Qwik looks (to me) like a more convoluted React.

one reason why not to? nobody hires Qwik developers

No, and speaking of performance solid and svelte are better.
or even just go do wasm at this point

Not another react please. No jsx anymore!
Qwik and solid are just smaller not real world tested reacts. It's like going from meth to heroin.

Quik is fast, that's about it. In software engineering speed isn't everything when the difference is negligible. Because of that quik sucks.

I am sick and tired of these new frameworks. stop it, get some help, touch some grass. stop making frameworks.
