Hi guys, in this video I explain how I budget with prop money and keep track of my expenses. I stuff all of my envelopes with prop money, and when I pay bills or make a purchase I use my debit or credit cards. I make sure to only use my cards if I have enough money for a specific category. I then remove the prop money from whatever category I spent money from, update my trackers, pay my credit cards as soon as they post it, and I go through the whole process in this video. I hope you guys enjoy, and if you have any question please ask in the comment section. Thank you for watching and have a great day!😊💕

Disclamer: I’m not a financial advisor. This is just my personal experience and what works for me. I do explain in the video why I don’t recommend this method for everyone, but we all have to find what works best for us. I hope you still enjoy! :)

Reminder: I use prop money as place holders for money I have in my checking and savings account. I do this because I’m a visual person and also to hold myself accountable. Also, it’s really fun to count the money and watch it grow. When I have an expense, I also get to see the money decrease, and it makes me a bit sad lol, so it has encourage me to save more. I’ve been doing it for two years now, and it has been what works best for me :) it gives me the visualization of cash with the convenience of budgeting digitally. When making purchases or paying bills, I use my card instead :)

I currently have no debt, and I’m working towards my saving goals, which I mention in my cash stuffing videos. I have one job and get paid biweekly however moving forward I will be doing weekly cash stuffings, by dividing my biweekly paycheck into two cash stuffings, which means I will have four cash stuffings a month instead of two :) it’s something new I will be trying, and I hope it works out for me. Thank you so much for watching!❤️

If you guys have any questions about the products I use or any questions in general, don’t hesitate to ask in the comment section :)🤍

Note : It does take about a month to get things from alie express sometimes longer

This was very interesting to watch. I don’t see many people who use only prop money, especially prop change. I’m a digital and cash stuffer, but I’ve thought about making the switch to solely digital because it’s too much of a hassle going to the bank weekly, and it’s unsafe to keep too much money on hand. Excellent video! Tyfs! 💜

This is what I needed to see, why and how prop money was being used. I over spend badly since buying my house so I’m going back to budgeting. I don’t want to take so much money out the bank so I’m going to buy prop money and track expenses daily like this so I know what I have left

I don’t have prop money. I have 10 bank accounts and 3 savings accounts. Instead of cash stuffing envelopes I budget in the accounts. So one account is for my car, one is for emergencies, one is for random shopping or spending, one is for bills and debts, etc etc. I tried to do cash stuffing but I’m too lazy to go to the bank.

I also charge every thing and pay off monthly.
I'm wondering if you take your cash(less) binders when you go shopping so you know how much you have to spend. Or do you just wing it and hope there's money in the binder? Or do you keep another form of tracking.
