I discovered KEXP by pure accident about 2 years ago or more. We used to have Whistle Test in the UK in the mid 80s which was pretty close to the enthusiasm and eclecticism of KEXP until the awful BBC binned it off. Like that show did back then, KEXP has introduced me to so much fine music that I was missing! It always sounds great and you can feel the goodwill emanating from bands, presenters and staff!
Here’s a few of the bands that tore the roof off ( sometimes subtly!) for me... Wussy, Sunflower Bean, Jayhawks, Shame, Idles, Wild Reeds, Futurebirds, Band of Horses, Mass Gothic, Chuck Prophet, Wilco etc.... and on and on 😃. Thank you for carrying the torch for music

My youngest son and I have become "groupies" for these guys. To say that they mean a lot to us would be a great understatement. About Rodeo...maybe because of their Athens roots, no band since R.E.M. has worked so hard on every single note, every harmony, every though and every idea to make a song "be". If you've never seen them live, you're missing a life experience. P.S., if you guys ever see these posts, comment back...I have something funny.

KEXP rules! great radio personalities.. with GREAT bands.. = great interaction, and amazing shows.. I love this station.. almost want to move that direction.... hell actually, might do it.... thanks so much... amazing work..
