Professor, I was just wondering if I wanted to find the average speed . Which would be Total Distance / Total time ( 320 / 7.2 ), I would get 44.4 instead of 45 miles per hour . Thanks !

It is easy to think that the LCD is x+10 ....which can throw you off...as it did me...that is why it is best to place brackets around the  (x+10} ...and then its easier to see LCD  is  x+10   Hope this helps anyone that may have made this error....fcc.

I am wondering whether it is possible to solve it with only elementary math. No X or Y, just arithmetic??
