Traps: Gas trap, Wall launcher, Wooden floor spike, Floor launcher, Floor freeze, Wall Dart
Heroes: Machinist Harper/Megabase Kyle, Machinist Harper in support for more durability, Heavy Base Kyle/Power Base Knox support
Urban Assault Headhunter, UAH/Birthday Ramirez Sergeant support, Master Grenadier support
*Other than Shuriken Master Sarah, Ninja’s are worthless and not needed
Striker AC for fast farming,
*Other Outlander’s aren’t needed.
Weapons: Obliterator god roll is the only weapon needed for defenders. Place a closed structure around them so they can safely shoot through walls. Great for SSD’s. Pain Train god roll for melting Smashers and Husks. Super Shredder for mid to long range, third person zoomed in sniper attacks. Santa’s Little Helper god roll for mobs in SSD’s.
*Pistols, shotguns and melee weapons aren’t needed. They’re outclassed by Assault Rifles.
Defenders: Three PL 130 Snipers

I solo’d every SSD in the game. From my experience, this is all you need. God roll the traps and weapons listed. Since resources are limited, don’t waste your time on anything else. Hope this helps.

All I done was spam the map with gas traps.. and it worked, it was so easy I soloed most of my ssds, I soloed twine from 2-3 to 9, and at ssd 10 I just called my fiend just in case but didn't really need them, but they did give me a boost in tech.

This is fantastic! In SSD#5, I completely overlooked the path shown at 21:00 - where all you need is a few launchers. It helps to see how you vary your trap tunnels to fit the limitation of the terrain, sometimes an "L" shaped trap and sometimes an "E" shaped trap (where the horizontals are time-out rooms).

unless its different on WG, i am pretty sure its impossible for them to spawn norht or east of the main base. i didn't have ssd 1 finished so i could idle husk swarms and it was only ever south and west.
