Hunter’s Moon, Blood Moon & Lunar Eclipse

The Hunter's Moon graces the night sky almost every October (although every four years the hunter moon makes an appearance in November) and when it does it creates an eerie atmosphere. The full moon in 2023 was not just your ordinary lunar spectacle; it underwent a partial eclipse, turning it into a "Blood Moon" especially visible in parts of the Americas. This rare celestial event is steeped in history, harking back to the times of European and Native American hunters.

Why does it need to be spooky? And why does it have to be called a "blood moon"? It looks like an orange setting sun or a rose color. I shall call it a rose 🌹 moon and I'll take photos of it, because it looks like a sunset in the night sky. It is beautiful!!! 🫠
