I had a blast at the inaugural runDisney Halloween Half Marathon Weekend at Disneyland. The theming was so fun and the whole weekend felt like a big Halloween party (with some running, too 😉). Join me for yoga on Main Street, the expo, park time, and of course the 5K, 10K, and half marathon 🎃

I love this video- I too stayed solo at the D’Land Hotel for the race weekend (I ran my first foot race -ever!- the 10k on 71st birthday!) - I love that hotel and the staff made for many magical moments for me. Just FYI the hotel has special pricing during that time for next year, if you book 4 nights or more. I’ve never seen special pricing this far out before. Not for all room types but it’s a pretty good deal for my favorite (standard view club level- which means upper floor Adventure Tower with pool view - much like your room was only higher floor plus club level privileges and access to the eticket lounge….worth it!) I’ve stayed at the Westin also and I do like it but I’ve been spoiled by the service in the eticket lounge and pretty much everything about the hotel. It can’t- it JUST CANNOT be as hot and humid during next year’s race weekend. I’ll be there running the 5K and the 10k - (I thought the 10k this year was a one and done but then next year’s is Cruella theme, so…., take my money!

That weekend you were there the temps here in So Cal were ruthless. At our house (about 35 mins east of Disneyland) was 113 !! I was supposed to go Disneyland on that Friday but cancelled my reservation when I saw how hot it was. Just renewed my pass so I'm going again next week. LOOVE your haunted mansion theme outfit. Oh, and I wonder if the bumps on your face are due to rosacea?? When I'm in the sun too much I get a rosacea breakout with these teeny tiny little pimples on my cheeks.
