Chocobos can swim! 40 hours into the game and I just found that out. Now I use them all the time to cut across lakes.

To all those people who are hating the new ring upgrade:
The actual power of the Ring of the Lucii is extremely great. And it should be just like that in the game. Weakening it's strength will be unrealistic. Also if you hate "one hit kills" better don't use it at all. Whoever wants to use it is free to use it; and whoever doesn't also according to their wish may not.

It's crazy this guy knows these secrets, yet doesn't know the "secret" boost you get from releasing the sprint button right before your stamina runs out.

On one of the arches there's a moogle charm and if you hold square right before you hit the floor while falling you will do a cartwheel and avoid the drop damage

The climbing on arches must have been added. I DISTINCTLY remember trying to do it and being disappointed it wasn't possible.

it's like times easier to climb Arches with a Choccobo

its great that they make arches climbable, but i dont understand why there has tobe an invinsible barrier for the rest of the map, i mean can u just put a biggass lv140 monster in the middle of nowhere? its more fun. stacking trees and make an accessible forest makes a great view, riding choccobo in the middle of a forest is a nice change of pace from driving or flying around in a car

I’m sure everyone here knows by now already but for those that don’t you can double up on all the items when you new game plus. Even ultima weapon which also boosts magic a lot .
