Just bad timing. Edwards would never do anything to hurt her teammates. I feel so bad her. She probably thinks she’s cursed. Azzi and Nika are the heart of this team and they will be back soon. Go UConn.

I understand it was an accident, but her own teammate knees her in the back of the head (which could have been serious) puts her hands up, looks at her, and then just trots on down the court and leaves her.... Wow....

Nika has a concussion so she should probably sit out Sunday’s game.
I know that’s not good for the team but I’m more concerned with her long-term cognitive ability.
They say there’s no such thing as a minor concussion. She needs rest to get her brain healed from that collision.

There’s tough and then there’s Nika tough. She got up and walked it off. I’m sure they had to follow concussion protocol or she would have (ill advisedly) gone back in.

Aayliah is strong but she’s not built like a tank.
It was a very unfortunate collision.

The irony is that Aaliyah’s nose injury is courtesy of an errant elbow by Nika in practice. Basketball really is a contact sport.
