This did not work for me, I tried moving the shield system off my trotter to my other healer and gave trotter the Emergency Reboot and cleared it immediately.

Herta kept destroying my shield guy by focusing on him. Switched to new unit and used 2 healers. At first thought that it was a bad attempt since enemy destroyed the buffer quickly but ended up winning as 2 healers came in clutch...
