VW Golf MK7 (5G) DRL option on infotainment screen activation

By default #DRL settings in Volkswagen Golf MK7 (5G) are not available to user and lights can only be operated by the rotary control switch. With a simple coding procedure you can enable new option on the infotainment screen which will let you enable and disable daytime running lights with a single tap if needed.

ℹ️ This video shows how it's done in Volkswagen Golf MK7 but the same procedure should be working in other #MQB cars like Skoda Octavia 3 5E, Seat Leon 5F, Audi A3 8V.
ℹ️ Coding requires diagnostic tool like OBDeleven, VCDS or any other tool that's capable of changing coding and adaptation values in VAG cars control units.

I have tried this on my mk7. It has worked but appears to have activated the low beams. I thought the drl was more like the sidlights. I noticed in the vid that there is more active that i have and being in German its very difficult to understand. What lights should come on with drl active??

Hello, I think I need your help. My golf 7 2014 automatic, has a mode button to choose drive mode (normal, Eco, Sport, individual). Since three days my button doesn't work anymore, the light is fine but nothing is showing up in media display. I'm stuck in eco mode.
