I’ve seen many OH solves already but this one never ceases to blow my mind. POV video makes it so much better, like I’m watching this in person.

Great job on handling the stop watch - only stop it when he starts solving, not when he places his hands on the timer 🙂

WCA should use this video as one of many examples for "how to judge correctly".
One hand always on stopwatch ready to start the inspection time.
Asking the competitor about their ready or not (whether asking "ready?" "Are you ready?" "Tell me when you are ready") only once!
Tells the competitor the 8 and 12 seconds warning.
Also stop the inspection time when competitor starts the timer, not when they put their hands on timer.
Plus you look at the time displayed by the stackmat-timer not by the display (idk if display exists in that situation) because the display might be wrong but the timer does not.
You also remember to sign the scorecard.
Maybe one addition is to reset the timer as soon as the competitor signs the score card.

My guy can solve faster with one hand than I can with both of them.

The 9.58 second he made was just his hand speed like usain bolt speed

I judged him once too! I think I may have written one of the times lol, he went to a delegate after the round and told them along with showing a video of the solve
