Logan doesn't have such long claws. They wouldn't fit in the forearms. 26 cm is the maximum for the length of his claws.

Wolverines (Logans) claws are NOT 45.2cm long. they'd never fit into his forearms, and at that length they'd still be sticking well out of his hands fully retracted and he'd cut his hands off at the wrists every time he moved his hands. His claws would (functionally) be slightly shorter than his forearms, Roughly 22cm using my forearm as reference (and I has a 6ft 2inch tall frame).
