Don't forget to mention the system is only as strong as it's weakest link . . . . the damn chain. The plates separate from the pins on the feaking 10 speed chain. It happened to me twice in a 5 month period. I am now using a SRAM 10 speed chain, no problems yet. I ride a Tallboy with XT components.

don't forget to mention that the derailleur is proprietary to the clicker now I'm stuck with a derailleur I can't use because my clicker broke another Shimano fail
