"It is a story of two women, Aastha and Peeplika, set in the backdrop of the 90s, where Aastha is a dutiful housewife and a mother. Peeplika is an unconventional artist and has never been impressed by normal routines in her life. Aastha sets out on a journey of self-discovery and meets Peeplika on the route. Aastha sets herself free from the society pressures and boundaries when she finds an intense connection with Peeplika, something that she always longed for. All this happens amidst the riots after Babri Masjid demolition horrified the nation.

I don't think that this movie is only based on homosexuality, but it forces us to think about relationship. एक औरत सबसे कमजोर तब पड़ती है जब अपना सौ प्रतिशत देने के बाद भी उसे वो सम्मान और वो प्यार नही मिलता जिसकी वो हकदार होती है .और इसी कमजोरी का फायदा दूसरा उठाता है, उसके उस प्यार और केयर को अपना बनाना चाहता है किसी भी कीमत पर. वो शुरू में दिखता है की उस औरत को वो प्यार और सम्मान वो देगा, लेकिन वो भी वैसा ही बन जाता है. जब तक हम अपनी खुशी के लिए किसी और पर आश्रित रहेंगे तब तक ऐसे लोग आकर के हमारे मन के साथ खेलते रहेंगे. हमें बस अपने आप को समझने की जरूरत है.

To everyone saying " HER Husband is good, samajhdaar, accepted her and blah blah.." this is for you guys Sorry to say but Apko kis angle se samajdaar laga care to explain? If he was samajdaar enough her wife would have never felt that missing part of her life in the first place, he would have given her enough time or just even attention or just he would have talked to her time to time about her wellbeing. And a few of you guys said he "accepted her" I would say he accepted her because he can't let other people know that his wife got stolen by some other GIRL because he failed to satisfy his Wife, lol you can see at that marriage scene that how much he is Obsessive about his OWN image rather than anything else. HUH

Really nicely represented the concept. The actiing of astha and pipilika is really good. Timing is really good. Everything was perfect. That curfew wala माहोल and riots scene was looking as real. No matter to talk on the subject whether it is good or bad. But when it is on the question of breaking old relations like marriage and being a mother, it is actually not appropriate to get out of marriage for physical amusement. Brain is on the top of everything. अगर वो माँ अपने बच्चो को छोडकर चली जाती, तो क्या ये समाज उसके बच्चोंकी इज्जत करता? क्या उन बच्चे की बुवा उनके मन में जहर भरणे से बाज आती? अभी atleast घर की बात घर ही मैं रह गयी. I like asthas decision.

Good story presented in smooth way. We judge Gay and lesbian couples because it's unnatural but let us think why it forms.
If husband-wife, girlfriend- boyfriend have strong bond no matter how distance apart they are then this foreign culture will not penetrate in India.
Same gender relationship forms because of missing beauty of faith and love. Off love inclueds sex but not just limited to that. Love and sex are different things but faith, loyalty makes it unite.
Gey & lesbian is not point of taboo, actually our indian family system have solution, it just need to understand reason of formation of such relationship and then try to solve it.
Cinema is future mirror to society but it's only when we disscuss about them, else soon that future will turn out in reality.

ऐसे सिनेमा को बकवास बोलने के अलावा गहराई से सोचने की जरुरत है।
क्योंकी हम भी समाज का ही हिस्सा है और समाज में वास्तव में ऐसे लोग होते है।

This is what happens when you supress your initial desires emotions, and your true self. They come out in one form or other. The cheating is definitely not justified but actually its a story about awakening sexualities. How a woman is tied to many responsibilities and can't dream more.
