Galaxy A53/A54: How to Transfer Photos / Videos to Computer, PC, Laptop (Windows OS) via Cable

I show you how to transfer (move, copy, download) files such as photos and videos from Samsung Galaxy A53 5G smartphone (same for Galaxy A54) to a Windows computer, PC or laptop via cable.

I've done all this, and yet my Windows 10 machines (2 computers) do not show the phone in "This PC" even though it sounds connected when plugged in. I unlocked "developer mode" set the settings to file transfer via usb/Auto etc. I'm able to select "Transferring Images" just fine and copied pictures no problem but am unable to get the file transfer option to work!!! I've searched everywhere for this problem. Samsung A53 Android 13.

I've tried everything, nothing works. I've scrolled down the notification and there's no "usb for file transfer"

But Samsung A54 doesnt wotk like that..crazy. i did everything..debugging usb. I went to the defolt configuration-transferrring files. Still my Windows doesnt work😢

Why is the folder for photos & videos folder called DCIM? Seems really dumb. Can we rename the folder? Also, after installing an SD card in the phone, how do we get the phone to save the pictures & videos we take to that drive?
