I think demo does help traders to a certain degree of building a strategy, just understanding your style of trading and what you want to stick with. Going live as a beginner you should be focused on risk management rules and you emotional you have to become a better trader from that point.

FACTS!!! I demo trade for 6months and learned very little.. I've been trading live for 6months, and learned more in my first month then the entire demo trading phase... I've learned patience, not over trading, over sizing, ... Most importantly I was shown just how possible it is for me to be successful witj trading.

Totally agree. You need to go through the emotions, because that's when you change

I feel like this can be overcome by starting a demo account with the same amount of money you plan to start your live account with. I refuse to waste money but i also want the true “feel” of trading. For me this does the trick. Maybe later on down the line once someone has more experience then its ok to start a live account despite bit being profitable for the reasons he said in the video

Do you think trading demo holds traders back? 👀

Ideally, it shouldn’t change the way you trade at all. But I do understand what’s happening

I have traded demo and live and I feel the same way about both, BUT ☝🏻thats because I only trade money that I can afford losing. Start small and scale up. When you buy a lottery ticket you know those 2$ aren’t coming back. I treat trading the same way.
