There are a few movies that kinda illustrate the dark, edgy cry of youth as it overflows in each decade. In the 90s, we had The Crow. The 80s, however, we had The Lost Boys... and this song, well, is pretty much the anthem to it all.

What I love about this cover is how much homage it pays to the original. A lot of song covers change so much that it doesn't carry the spirit of the original. But everything in this one from the perfectly timed guitar harmonics to the background "yeah yeah" in the vocals to line up with the original but still give a modern tone is just the perfect balance of new with the spirit of the classic. Outstanding job.
