Not sure why everyone makes a big deal of being able to see the battery life in the widget screen. I can do that with my regular, non W1 chip, Bluetooth headphones.

That said, this is cool tech and I'm def getting some Airpods. Good video.

+iDB Im really in a dilemma. I'm trying to decide whether or not to buy the jaybird x3 or the powerbeats3. I was hoping that the W1 chip was going to be a game changer for me but as a wireless bluetooth headphone owner, the "pairing issue" without the W1 really isn't a problem for me on my apple devices, but the battery life extension that the beats gets are definitely something to consider. I need

I have V-Moda Crossfade Wireless headphones on an iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.3. I can see the battery life of my headphones in the Notification Center. Nothing new.

I like the idea of the W1 chip, but I hope that Apple licenses it to other companies because I'm not a fan of beat headphones, especially on the ear (Solo 3). My favorite pair of headphones are the V Moda Crossfade Wireless, and if they had the W1 chip it would be a dream.
