PBR Streetgang - NHN

PBR Streetgang are Bonar Bradberry and Tom Thorpe. A a pair completely submerged in the world of club music their entire adult life. Their debut release was ‘Never Get Off the Boat’ in 2008 on Croatian label Red Music Records and since those early beginnings they have released on Futureboogie, Throne Of Blood, 2020Vision, Hot Creations, Crosstown Rebels and Skint Records. Their remix work has included Kylie, Lana Del Rey, Bryan Ferry, Hot Chip and Friendly Fires and more. As DJs they have played across the globe at almost every venue and festival of credible note. Outside of the studio and the booth, their residency on Rinse FM has become one of the mainstays of the stations, hosting international guests and fresh talent each month. PBR’s label, Kurtz Records, was created by the duo as a platform for their own output and as a stage to champion some of their favourite new artists as remixers.

Fast forward 20 years … 20 f’kin years!

To many crowds the world over PBR Streetgang are known and loved for their talents behind the turntables, but to others they are producers and remixers whose eclectic taste and evolving style has seen them enjoy longevity and much acclaim. To celebrate this milestone PBR bring us a rare selection of originals and remixes that shows the breadth and depth of their work. 

Featuring early originals that propelled them into the limelight, like ‘Downstroke’ and ‘J2Thab’, and more recently their stand-out disco tinged nugget from their debut album ‘Late Night Party Line’. Previously un-pressed remixes like the cult classic rework of Romanthony’s ‘Bring You Up’, the slow chuggy sleaze of Bryan Ferry’s ‘One Night Stand’, and the teary-eyed euphoria of their remix of Hot Chip’s ‘Melody of Love’.

This compilation represents an honest retrospective of the production and remix talents of PBR Streetgang. Always keeping true to their sound, and true to themselves.
