Timelapse of Recording Fata Morgana: Dawn

I found a couple old timelapses from 2020 when I was deep in working on what would become our new album 'Fata Morgana: Dawn'. Hard to believe this was 5 years ago, and Charlie wasn't even born yet. This was the last studio we had in Brooklyn before we moved to Germany in early 2021, and I remember loving working there. I shared it with Mikey Freedom Hart from Bleachers who would go on to become a good friend of mine. I remember there was a time in August 2020 when Patti took Indy back to Germany to escape the city, and I spent the whole month packing up our apartment for the move and doing late nights at the studio, often from 4pm until 4 or 5am. Some of the richest creative periods of my life have been when I've just buried my head in the sand like this and barely come up for air. Mikey was pretty much the only other human I saw during this month and we'd often play each other tracks we'd been working on. I also borrowed his wah wah pedal to do the synth solo on Rolling Man, so thanks for that Mikey!
