I bought a $945 Pokemon Mystery Box on eBay with the promise of WOTC Packs and PSA WOTC cards. I will open every pack and we'll see if there is more value opened or if we kept everything sealed. Let's see if this mystery box is trash or cash?

Those single packs might have been weighted or specifically chosen out (the sun and moon booster box had this pull pattern in the order of the packs), which guarantees hits and misses for the packs, might have been the reason of the bad pull rates

Those bad rates on the opened packs makes me think they have a way to sort the packs (weight or some other method) to guarantee they only sell less value packs

this is the perfect video for my 2 boys to watch.
almost weekly my kids are tying to convince me to let them buy pokemon cards. they have it in their brains that they are going to open a pack and score a 20 000 dollar card.
honest videos like this show how much of a gamble it is. and that 99.9% of the time you are going to throw money into the trash.

I'm trying to get every Pikachu I can find. My son who passed away 3 years ago was a HUGE Pikachu fan so I am collecting them all in his memory. I have his ashes in a custom PokeBall and I plan on making a memorial garden in our yard with the PokeBall and some Pikachu cards. Thank you for all the tips and pack openings. YOU ROCK!

Another great video, Pat! My collection goal this year is to actually slow down and not overdo it. It's easy to get excited about every product and overspend. I want to dial in on sets I'm truly excited about and more so focus on completing my vintage childhood collections like the Neo era.

As far as collection goals go, I'm trying to finish my first complete series. I have about 80% of the list of Rebel Clash so pretty excited to see the completed binder. Great video btw got a bit nostalgic seeing that dark arbok card, first holo I opened from the rocket series.
