I know, the animation isn't the best, but this isn't made by Pixar or Dreamworks. This is done by a company in South Africa and they don't have the biggest budget to work with.

OK I'm now intriuged to see this film. Falcons are kinda my thing. So long as the story holds up, the animation being a little stiff has never been a problem for the. The enviroment looks well delevpped enough.

My Review: it was pretty cool. The pacing was horrible but the voice acting was really good and I did chuckle at a couple of jokes. I love birds in general so I think I would have loved it if I saw it as a kid. As an adult, it wasn't bad so I still think it's a good film for kids.

Also, Look up "Kumba trailer". It's made by the same studio but the animation and rendering is a whole lot better.

People here are so stupid, mean and close-minded:
 its not because the subjects of this story are birds that this movie is a ripoff  of  the Guardians or of Rio.
Oh my god they used birds - oh no they copied the whole plot!
you forgot to mention Happy Feet also, heh?

How many movies with little doggies, or a prince and princess?!  They all copy each other?
Come on.

And for the animation, South Africa had a much less less budget than americans movie.  Could you personally do better? Dont think so.
And for your record, most of your americans movies have a huge help from Montreal city, in Canada.  
Dont get too much big-headed here.

The team who made legend of the guardians had a way higher budget ($80 million), while the studio that made this film only had $20 million.

sub par animation but at least they showed unique species of birds like saddle bill stork and some rock monitor that is creepy as hell 5/10
