OEM silencers are one of the first things to get marked on most bikes, because they are so BIG. Keeping it in bubble wrap when the bike is being used is a good idea.

I had the 600 f sport of the same vintage, and was pleased to see you had the powder coated black version as I had the exact same and really matches the colour scheme and frame. Was disappointed you didn’t start it without cam for moto gp style test haha

I tried to buy a 954 2 times and they were sold before I got all the $$$, took it as a sign and got a mint 07’ Triumph Speed Triple 1050 for $2900 w/ 12k miles all original w/ arrow cans lol best deal I ever seen

There are lots of reasons why the 929/954 are not particularly good bikes, but the unmappable ECU it has is one of the most restrictive.
Change any part of the OEM exhaust, and it'll very likely run lean.

i got a period correct micron exhaust in stainless steel, looks pretty tasty. Also sounds great

I have the same PipeWerx can on my fzs 1000, much nicer sound than the original and some pops and bangs on overrun. Also much lighter than the original as well
