When you realize that money flows to those that deal in favors but not to those that provide goods and services, then your country is doomed to fail. When you realize that many become rich by bribery and influence but those that provide goods and services do not, then your country is doomed to fail. When you realize the laws do not protect the producers from the non-producers but the laws protect them from the producers, then your country is doomed to fail. When you realize that corruption is rewarded and honesty is not, then your country is doomed to fail. In the case of the orange guy and the senile guy, who produced something and who has not? It's a simple question with a simple answer.
