Did Alex Murdaugh confess to killing his son?

The jury was played an interview Alex Murdaugh gave SLED a few days after the murders. A portion of what he says is being contested. Some hear him say “I did him so bad” and others hear him say “they did him so bad" when referring to his son Paul.

He meant to kill Paul but I don't think he meant to destroy his head like that....pretty sure he was shocked at the damage he had done. A moment of truth slipped into a narcissist's conversation. Just like when he said that the dogs did not sense any strangers at the kennels...quite a tell!

He hated his son for the damage he had caused with the boat crash, and was on the verge of losing everything in his life including his wife and sons and all his houses and property. Something happened to tip him over the edge, and he killed them both.

Yup. Why are people hesitant about a motive? Maggie’s name was on their houses, Paul was in a 30millon dollar lawsuit and both were pressuring him regarding drug use.

The moment he sat in the police car and cried his fake tears, I knew right away he killed them. Plus the minute the cops showed up he starts in right away explaining about the boat accident Paul was in.. who does that when just finding your wife and son murdered. You would be so upset you would not be able to talk.. i know i would not be able to talk.. then saying are they dead you sure they are dead.. he had to make sure they were not alive to tell cops he shot them. Also the dog was more in distress then he was when cops showed up. if dogs could only talk. I am sure the dog saw him shoot them. So glad the jurors found him guilty.

Another "one" raised that you can do whatever and not be held accountable! It was passed down from his father, grandfather, children (Paul and Richard) always excuse their inappropriate behavior. After killing Mallory in a boat accident, Paul'sgrandfather and family members got his ass off. It all boils down to generational GREED, handed down from generation to generations.
