For the people who are saying sad to ox or bull ; 1st know the truth. The extract that came after oil is feeded to that cattle which is very healthy and nutritious. Secondly due to modern machines the usage of ox and bulls reduced. Whenever a male calf is born to a cow either it was selling for slaughtering or left starving until death without giving milk from his mother. So instead of treating animals like this, let at least be used this animals like this at least they will keep alive for this purpose even.

The main context is… well, I’m Chinese

Throughout the history of China, cows were used as labour, but a cow was expensive back then, getting hands on one rivals getting a rolex watch today
Which was why families of China respect their fellow calf
It’s not cruelty, it’s making good use of resources
Bulls/Cows have more strength than a human has, which allows for easier/better farming methods

Time passes, and cows are STILL widely used for China’s farms today

About the hygiene part—
It seems dirty, but the peanut oil has yet to be refined
The distillation and filtration processes have yet to be done, so the final product will vary
Though distillation involves boiling a substance, hence the product is sterilised
You also collect the product you want, other impurities like dirt and grime are left behind

Beberapa puluh tahun lalu masyarakat kalau menggoreng masih menggunakan minyak kelapa, minyak kedelai, minyak kacang tanah, yang merupakan home industry masyarakat, juga menghasilkan by product antara lain bungkil (ampas minyak kedelai & kacang tanah) blondho ampas minyak kelapa yang masih bisa dimanfaatkan.
Namun setelah ada minyak goreng dari sawit, minyak kedelai, minyak kacang tanah, minyak kelapa sudah tidak ditemukan di masyarakat.

I saw a comment on another post talking about how peanut oil is extremely processed to extract the oil. I know that natural peanut butter, the oil separates naturally in the grinding process. I also know that all peanut butters without the natural designation have seed oils as additives in the ingredients. I always assumed that companies like Jif sold the more expensive peanut oil and replaced them with less expensive canola oil. This helped verify that conclusion
