In this ultralight pan head review we take a detailed look at 6 of the best ultralight pan head options on the market today. Your tripod pan head selection can make a big difference in not only weight, but overall functionality. So picking the best tripod pan head for your specific trip and uses makes a huge difference.

In this video we look at the Wiser Precision Nighthawk, the Tricer LP, the Outdoorsmans Micro Pan Head, the Altitude Outdoors MTN Hunter Nano Pro, and two models of the Really Right Stuff (RRS) PT Scout.

All of the these options offer something a little different, and each one can be a great option depending on what you need it most for. As with anything ultralight, you will be sacrificing somewhere in performance, so knowing what you are sacrificing, and being OK with that sacrifice is important.

Gabe, Thanks for Including our Nighthawk in your comparison! Something worth mentioning with the Versatility/Features is the Nighthawk comes with an optional throw lever to replace the carbon handle saving weight and volume. Keep up the great work!

Great review Gabe. You summed up what the LP was designed for and why it’s the best selling head on the market. Fast Light Simple.

You would come off a little more professional if you wouldn't use the word anyways. It is Street Punk talk. The word is anyway.
