My cousin's lived there and I went to OCC for my first year of college. We lived in the Chicago suburbs and went on vacations to see those relatives. Good times! I remember Lions Drag Strip and Pomona Raceway. I went there on my Honda motorcycle that year of college. Newport Beach is great. Careful of the rip currents.

Great info on back bay! The pause is a thing in ocean beach, San Diego meaning you have to stop talking or hit mute on a conference call. That's take an adjustment vs just hearing the occasional plane. Thanks!
