Bağdat’tan dönen Sultan Murad, aldığı savaş yaralarıyla iyice takatten düşer. Hastalığı iyice ilerleyen Sultan Murad yatağa düşer. Sultan Murad’ın vaziyetinin kötü olduğunu öğrenen Kösem Sultan oğlunun başında bekler. Ana oğul hasta yatağında hesaplaşır.

I think Ahmet acted a bit immature in this scene. Not trying to Justify Handan's fault but at least He could have considered the reasons. He himself even tried killing his brother a couple times. And the words " who are you" "how dare you" is such an insult to a mother who for his sake did a terrible thing.

Well... The prince who ascend the throne would have to kill his brothers so that he would be the only heir of the throne( as its their tradition. Ahmet also supposed to do it but he could not... Because he lived his whole life under the horrible shadows of executioners... He didn't want his brother to face the same fear... He had also seen his brother's death. He loved Mustafa so much that why he unwilling and unconsciously misbeheved and tried to slap his mother, but regret afterwards.
People around him want to use Mustafa against If somehow Mustafa ascend the throne Ahmet would be killed. Thats why for multiple times he tried to kill Mustafa but could not....
