Brake energy charts are pretty common in the manuals for large aircraft, but not so much in small ones. I don't think manufacturers contemplate repetitive stops from high speed. As you said, planes are meant to fly, not drive. I'm glad you had a safe outcome and only minor damage!

What type of brake system do you have? Do they have all factory parts or was it a mix of aftermarket parts with factory parts? I had issues with my Extra brakes and I replaced with all Cleveland parts and it is working much better. Also, the pads do tend to rub even if you are not pushing on the brakes. The heat is being generated when you are braking and also during high speed taxis. The Beringer system seems to have figured out how to release the pads completely from the disc. If I had to buy a new wheel / brake assembly I think I would go with them. They come standard with all the new Extras.

When you realise just how useless a powder extinguisher is you wonder why there are so many out there.... The number of fires I have seen reignite after using a powder extinguisher is crazy!
I have a CO2 extinguisher in my plane now, it both removes the oxygen from the fire and freezes the area dissipating the heat instantly!
Imagine how quickly that could have gone south if you had something as minor as a dripping fuel sump valve? Glad it was superficial damage though!
