Because they travelled to Australia and mostly none of their relatives could contact, I don't think they can even ask about Hermione

New house --> no empty bedroom.
New friends --> No one knows about Hermione.
They wouldn't bother to take empty frames with them.

The spell incepted the wish to move to Australia. I guess a small part of that spell kept them from thinking about some oddities.

I can’t remember where I heard this but Hermione went looking for her parents but they had already had a daughter named Hermione so if anyone asked about Hermione they would talk about there second daughter

I have wondered the same question but I do know she does manage to fix her parents memory She may have. destroyed the empty photos frames and may have a altered her neighbors memories possibly made her parents house smaller with less rooms
