The Jeep Compass Trailhawk has just gone on sale for Rs 30.72 lakh (ex-showroom, India). That's Rs 1.38 lakh over the Jeep Compass Diesel Model S 4x4.

This is the first time Autocar India did a sensible review on an off-roader. Usually, drive through some plain grass grounds and say they have done some serious offroading off the camera or completely ignore the offroad bit by saying no one is going to take this offroad. Thank you for the change. Hope this continues in further reviews

didnt get a cringy review with words like 'coupe like' and fake accents.
they should let him review all the cars and all others should just write those clickbate articles

FYI
1. All the Compass(Regular or Trailhawk) have Bash Plates under the Engine for the Engine Protection.
2. Jeep Compass is the only Vehicle in the World that has scored a full 100/100 in the moose test, if you know by what I mean. Also there is Dynamic Steering Torque and Electronic Rollover Mitigation as standard features across the Compass Range. That's why there is no oversteer or body roll.
3. The 9-speed ZF Torque Convertor Gear Box used in the Jeep Compass has all the Power you want and there is absolutely no power lag.
Note - Please Understand the Driving Dynamics of the Compass regarding the Power.

MG Hector - got mixed reviews
MG Astor - Falls into mid size suv
Mahindra XUV 700 - long waiting
Skoda Kushaq - Not a great interior a bit let down @ 21 lakhs
VW Taigun - Looks good but same, interior not premium
Jeep- Ticks most of the boxed but a bit expensive

Small gripe:
While talking about the front looks, both the cars fronts are in the shade.. Would have been better if they were facing the light..

Kia : Lets upgrade the Seltos with an 18inch wheel on the X-Line edition unlike the regular 17inch wheel.
Jeep : Lets upgrade the Compass's regular 18inch into a 17inch wheel for better tyre profile in the Trailhawk edition.

I think the trailhawk gets more better calibration in off-road modes because there is difference in regular car and trailhawk in tackling the bad roads trailhawk passes over the bad roads quite easily than the regular car

While offroading one of the important factor is its ground clearance. 205 mm is not good enough.
