In this concept trailer video, I present a visual commentary on how a film idea could look. The purpose of these mashup/fan-made/concept trailer videos is to demonstrate and conceptualize specific or non-existing film ideas by compiling and transforming clips from previously existing productions. This process creates a creatively unique vision and gives new meaning to the original footage. I've transformed the original work by adding high-quality edits and special effects to create completely new, original movie trailers. These are derivative works as defined by the United States Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 101, and as such, may be protected from copyright claims under the doctrine of fair use.

On this channel, I create mashup/fan-made/concept trailer videos by collecting multiple pieces of film footage from one or multiple movies and editing them to craft a new trailer. Trailer mashups are often created for a movie that does not yet exist or to change the genre of an existing film. These derivative works may find protection from copyright claims under the doctrine of fair use. The trailer mashups are not only a user-generated form of digital creativity but also a way to generate anticipation for future releases, complementing current movie trailers. Movie trailers are designed to give minimal plot details and create hype and anticipation. Fan-made trailer mashups allow the audience to apply their own cinematic spin to current movie footage, focusing on specific actors, portions of the film, or even altering the plot or genre entirely.
