Great demo!! Been researching the H90. Sounds great just tough to stomach the cost. You do get a ton of FX and basically about the same as two big boy pedals.

An excellent demo! I know it is an effect pedal but somehow to my ears the H90 puts out (besides the reverb), just a bunch of cinematic sound effects (I'm looking at you "Fairy wings" effect:). Yes these effects sound glowingly great but how can they be used musically in a larger mix? To date, I've never seen the H90 being used in a larger mix ; the demo's spot light specific effects on their own outside of anything musical. The millennium falcon in Star Wars going into hyperspace also sound neat...but it's also just a sound effect. Making the H90 sound effects musical seems to be very difficult given the lack of such demo's I've seen online (again, not withstanding the reverb). If you plan on using the H90 with a capable synth that has an extensive mod matrix, arpeggiator, good effect banks, etc... I would also expect (in terms of the resultant sound) an extensive overlap in capabilities between the synth and the H90. I can see the H90 being a perfect fit for any acoustic instrument as it really expands your pallet of sounds. For synths though, I see it to be a tougher sell. Can any H90 users comment on this?

I own the H9 and the huge benefit for me is Eventide’s H9 editor for the iPadOS. I hope in my little dark heart that will develop or port one to the iPad for the H90. 😮

Can anyone tell me why some presets are super loud (same thing happens on my H7600) and how to remedy this? Is there a master volume control to prevent this? Thanks for any help.

I’ve watched enough demo videos on this pedal to know it’s an FX monster, but I doubt I would ever use a quarter of it’s abilities.

Thanks Doug....but for $999 USD I could buy a New Big Memory Ipad
