LIFE in the mountains of Ukraine: cooking dinner!!

Today Nadya from the village of Krasnyk in the Carpathians will cook a wonderful dinner, homemade bread in the oven, pork cutlets, natural homemade sauces and vegetables.

I'm sick as a dog with a bad sinus infection, so I am binge watching these videos. No talking which is wonderful. Just the sounds made in a kitchen like when I was a little girl and my mom was making dinner. Very soothing and restful to take in the wholesome wonderful life in the mountains. God bless the wonderful people in Ukraine.

It's meditative to watch her prepare food by hand. The simplicity of her lifestyle is in tuned with the natural world. It's a breath of fresh air from being sold every kitchen gadget and appliance under the sun. She doesn't even have running water and yet she's prepared a delicious, nutritious home cooked meal. yum!

That puppy was just cuteness overload! I wished I could get my hands on him! I was enjoying listening to the sound of rain but when I saw that little dog everything else went right out of my mind! So, I'm captivated by the rain and the puppy, and the lady hasn't even started cooking yet. This is going to be a GREAT video. After watching this I concluded that she didn't make a hamburger. She made a HAMBURGER! I have never seen a hamburger so huge but they sure did look good and I think it's great that she not only ground her own meat but she also made her bun from scratch. I don't think I've ever seen anyone in real life do that.
