really enjoyed the breadth of topics covered with these tips—i'm not a beat maker, but definitely still learned some techniques i'll be incorporating into my workflow! 🙌

Thanks for the mindblowing technique of making percussion loops and then... get this.... saving them. Amazing.

I will say that producers have too learn the difference between what makes a beat crazy and complex, to an infectious beat.

Need a video of someone taking an amateur project at random, vocals included; from amateur quality to as professional as possible. Or how bout a “Flip That Joint” or “Pimp My Track” series (before and after) and when it gets released, the series or show (or you!) get a cut in the licensing depending on prior agreed upon arrangement between original producer(s) and extent to which the “flip/pimp” team was involved. SPLICE said to leave comments for future SPLICE content ideas. The idea is to lift up up and coming producers in a fun, creative, and challenging way as it also teaches the rest (viewers) how to up their own game as well.

similar to the percussion loop idea, i used to play different instrument parts, then i would imagine it as a "sample", then chop the audio like you would off a vinyl, etc. it's kinda cool to "chop up" your own recordings & hear it from another angle.

i also like the autotune idea, but unsure of how it works... does it convert your audio into MIDI, then you just change the sound/instrument later on?

appreciate the tips man!
