If you're going thru tubes fast enough to require a drill, the reload process is going to burn up all the time you saved, not to mention it's bulky AF

I think sacrificing a caulking gun, removing the plunger, and permanently cementing that wood disk into it would make more sense than attaching it with screws to each tube of caulk. It would help to have a drill with a (slow) speed lock as well.

Darn! I could have used this knowledge a few weeks ago. Bought epoxy in a caulk tube but couldn’t squeeze it out with a standard caulk gun.
