I have this truck and the 9106 original. Shredded the diff in both of them. Ordered new diff's and shredded them also. At the price point and, the fun they are when running, definitely can't go wrong finding fixes for them. Ordered HSP 02024 part replacement diff's from Aliexpress. I Hear they are much better. We'll see.. Still a good truck, not disappointed in purchase.

I just ordered one of these along with all the extra parts I could find. I am covered for every conceivable crash or mishap. lol . I will also be running it on 3s so was wondering if you have had time to do the updated video on how you made out with the 9106s. It just went up on Gearbest on black Friday for quite cheap so I assume many others got it as well. Thanks for the reviews man. I have watched like a year of your videos on a few days...lol

Did you just changed the battery or do you have to do some changes to some electronic parts as well?

The clicking might be the differential. I've had issues from day 1 with the zd racing 10427 (both versions use the same differentials. HSP 02024)
I'm my first 5 minutes running it on the stock battery my front differential failed. Banggood was kind enough to provide me with a new differential which failed after the 2nd run. I'm waiting for spare spider /planetary gears to arrive from Aliexpress and I'll be installing both HSP differentials/parts back and front

41mph out of the box is respectable. Not bad for an inexpensive 4wd MT!

I bought this truck got a lot more fun out of it with a 5200 mAh 2s only got about four runs and the rear diff started clicking ordered the red cat diff and pinion on Amazon and was good to go the only other thing that broke was a front a arm but my son hit a bucket of a front end loader doing about 30 miles an hour so if that's going to happen to any truck I put my stock slash 4x4 tires on it in my 2 1/2 old son drives it if anybody knows of any better parts off other trucks that work let me know because I had to wait two and a half weeks for front a arms handling wise he has a lot more fun with this over his two wheel drive Stampede brushless

Its surprising it i lasted 5 mins DO NOT BUY THIS TRUCK its so bad its horrendous to work on they have supper glued all the screws not thred lock supper glue so every screw rounds so you have to drill them out the biggest waste of $150 you will ever spend buy somthing else
