The Barnum & Bailey Circus: The Greatest Show on Earth

Starting in the 1860's workers in the United States not only began to have more leisure time than their predecessors, they also responded to this increase in leisure time by attending a variety of leisure activities. One popular leisure activity born after 1860, the Barnum and Bailey Circus, with the history of this circus described by three of my APUSH students (Nicole Chen, Isabella Chou, and Karina Lee) in this wonderfully creative and very informative 4:48 Powtoon video.
