I was lucky enough to see the circus when they had Gunther Gebel-Williams and his show with Tigers and then the elephants parade around the arena. For a little kid from a small town it was a real thrill seeing those amazing animals so close up. And so many of them! The horses, the cute dog show with the clown. I was so sad when the circus train left town, I wanted to go with them! lol I remember it well.
Anyway, it wasn't right to have those beautiful animals living in such cramped quarters. And cheers to this new generation of the circus. The performers need their jobs and have families to take care of. I hope this is just the beginning of a new era for the circus. and thanks for the memories
