I agree with you 100% about the bike lanes being just as dangerous (sometimes more!). Lots of people treat it like an extension of the sidewalk like that lady did

I'm loving this series! I've had a house guest since I got my new esk8 and finally got to go for my first ride this evening after taking her to the airport. Even though I'm right handed, I started riding goofy, and overall felt more confident riding that way. I spent about 90 minutes riding around the paths at a state park beach and felt fairly confident carving around. I definitely felt my confidence building over that time. I spent the first hour or so at 9-13 mph, but felt confident enough by the end to move up to 15-23 mph in mode 2. I noticed things started to get more twitchy at the higher speeds (and as I was starting to get a little more tired), so I decided it was time to pack it up for the evening and quit before I did something stupid, like try mode 3 or 4, lol! A couple of observations, I was impressed with the little 150mm AT tires ability to traverse divots, etc. On the downside I did find the turning radius to be a little lacking a few times, but I guess that's one of the limitations of having a ~39" board.

Overall, I'm so glad you introduced me to the esk8's. So far I have zero regrets with the purchase and can't wait to take it out again this weekend! With that said, I am beginning to wonder how much use the e-scoots will be getting in the future...

Thanks for the video. Is your Purple Panda mic connected directly to the 360?

Hey, you should practice braking hard in open space, incase you need to emergency brake. So you don't fly off when you do it in city riding

Hi Ivan, I have a technical question: is there such a thing as throttle control by leaning? I goggled it briefly and didn't found any info. It works as follows: to accelerate you lean forward (as EUC), to maintain speed you keep in the middle, lean back to decelerate (as EUC). That behavior might be implemented via two weight sensors on the axles. It seems like a very natural way to control the motor(s) and leaves both hands free.
What do you think?

Has this situation happened on your scooter?
