As for the recommendations, the current airing web drama “the love knot: your excellency’s first love” is a really good fantasy drama with modern background. Douban rating 7.6, a rare high rating for a chinese idol drama if you think about how picky douban users are. It would be nice to see your review about it.

Oh I am waiting for Legend of Fuyao. Hopefully it really comes out in June. I am also waiting for Legend of Minglan too but there seems to be no news at all on any updates on the drama.

world war 2 was a difficult time in asia. My mother lost a brother bec doctors were hard to find during world war 2.

As I am very interested in the newer Chinese histroy, I would like to watch "Patriot". We actually do not know much about the 20th century Chinese history in West. According to this, I have a question about " Siege in Fog": how much this drama is true to the actual historical backround. I do not mean details and actual historical persons but the historical powers (warlords, revolutionary parties, Japanese joining all this mess etc). It remembers me Tolstoi "War and Peace" a bit. PS! I quite like the SiF despite funny flaws like in one scene you have pouring shoulder wound and next scene you make love with your wife and you miraculously have a new white shirt on and in yet next scene your wound somehow moved on the hight of the elbow. I very much enjoyed the overflow of Chinese sayings in this drama.
