This video is brilliant, at first you think he's an abusive boyfriend or something, then you think she's trying to save herself and her friend because it looks like he's tied her up in the closet but then it's revealed that he's just come home to find his wife tied up in the closet and his ex is trying to kill both of them so he's only acting in self defense. Brilliant.

For those who didn't notice.. I'll tell you in reverse :
A man comes home and finds his wife/girlfriend in a closet up. She gives him a sign that someone stands behind him and there she is. His ex ig. She attacks him (maybe for leaving him I think) and fight. It would explain the phrases "Please don't go... I love you so". At the end he kills her with a brick and feels regret. Also those phrases turn up.

this song broke boundaries, can still remember this being everywhere & on main stream radio etc, astonishing for such a unique song, voice & band - goes to show for other artists that your own individuality should be embraced, not shunned!

what’s happening is the woman is the intruder, presumably the ex gf, he had gotten home to see his wife/gf tied up. she screams while the ex tries to kill him. they fight for a bit until he kills her. he was defending himself and his wife/gf.
