Who would have ever thought grandpa Walton was such a character in real life. He would have been a great interview for you. Thanks Scott.

Goodnight John Boy. My grandma's screendoor made that same springy noise back in the glorious 70's. The Waltons, MASH and Johnny Carson.

There was something special about that show, it always left me with a warm and peaceful feeling. Great video as usual Scott, thank you for all your hard work in bringing us something special to remember and learn new tidbits about our favorite TV and movie shows.

I still watch the Walton's everyday on MeTV. I think I could have lived on Walton's Mountain ! I love it. Thanks for sharing with us. Take care.

It's always amazed me how long Ellen Corby lived after her stroke, over 22 years. And it amazes me that she recovered to the place where she could return to The Waltons, in what became Will Geer's last episode.

Judy Norton has a YouTube channel you would like. She takes the episodes one at a time and tells what she remembers about making them. Then a couple times a month she does a thing called Ask Judy, she finds & takes questions from the comments below and answers them the best she can. Great channel!!!
This vlog was very well done, enjoyed it very much!!! 🌼

The Waltons brings back good memories for me because my parents had two shows we sat down and watched as a family. It was the Waltons and the Muppet Show, you got to love the 70s.A lot of your videos bring back good memories.

I’m from Michigan also… have always loved The Waltons… I’m currently rewatching all the seasons again for the millionth time… the lady who played one of the Baldwin sisters is from Milford, Michigan … I always thought that’s as pretty cool…

Me and my family always watched The Waltons, it was such a comfortable show here in the UK, or course going to bed we did the whole goodnight Jon boy routine, loved it, x

Great tribute to the late great cast of The Waltons. The three lived quite modestly compared to well-known Hollywood actors today.

My grandfather (and namesake) in Alabama died while watching The Waltons, which was one of his favorite shows. After that, anytime The Waltons intro music would come on, my grandmother would ask us to change the channel. 😔

I watch the Waltons every night and Little House on the Prairie. And who didn't love The Beverly Hillbillies ❤! The name of the next one that came out after Greer (Grandpa Walton) died is called, The Empty Nest.
