Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 - Lingering Will Cheap Strategies

About time I did this. Here I display the well known combat exploits for this fight if you want to take Lingering Will/Terra down with less effort. Doing the 3 main cheap strategies, especially the first or second one, will take a lot of the fun out of this fight and feels a lot less accomplishing, so I only recommend doing it if you just don't care to learn the fight at all. Left out Limit Form Ars strat where you can take off a few bars at LV1, it's a tad tricky and not outclassed by FF + Duck Flare combo, and not as safe as normal looping.

Take off High Jump for the Fenrir strat. I had issues stun locking enemies with it on

I used berserk charge and was still satisfied... because it still took 40 tries. I cried. it was worth it.

I won with Fenrir Jump attack combo after many, many, many tries, It was as difficult if I were to do it normally, And I was so relieved to finally get it done.

I actually didn't know buffer jumping was a named thing, I just feel that's something that comes natural to you as you play the game for a long while.

Hey Bizkit would you ever consider doing a Level 1 guide? I remember when I did my playthrough at level 1 I used your old LvL 1 playthrough for pointers, but I've always wondered how exactly a pro would go about it especially now that you've had more experience with the game.

I used 3 combos into guard break then the 3rd one finishes with Explosion. Shout out to Soraalam1

Straight up, I could never figure these out, so I used the gull wing to get lvl 99 easy in twilight town.
Then I basically fly around in final form until I can land a combo. One full aerial combo can take out a solid 4 bars of health. On top of that, when I reverted, I used Gennie final form to land a few hits, and use reflect to build drive when I could. All in all, tricky to figure out, but honestly the early leveling up makes a big difference in critical. I say just bite the bullet and make every fight easy that way. Anyways, thanks for the video. I never knew how to use the fenrir tactic properly, so I might give it a try next time. Thanks man!

You know, Biz, your Normal Loop strat from ages ago helped me beat LW on Critical a while back. That strat is still tried and true. Thanks.

Finally, someone pointed out that when LW gets pushed to a corner or a wall, he'll break out the infinite Fenrir strat.

It sucks we probably won't get a boss as good as LW ever again for the kh series I hope I'm wrong but I doubt it:/

when i fought him, i did use your normal loop and duck flare strat. even then, it took me a week because the LW can still do certain patterns i couldn't quite dodge and i don't think fighting it normally at that final phase is good for my sanity.

What’s funny is that the easiest strat is the one where you have to have beaten Sephiroth first in order to use Fenrir lol
